Abstract: Agrimarine-Based Tourism (ABT) serves as an advantage and opportunity for developing tourism in the archipelagic countries like Indonesia. The agrimarine-based tourism in Indonesia is hugely rich in potential thanks to thousands of small islands with amazing tourist attractions, which are supported by the agricultural and marine products as the supporting resources for tourism development. To make the best use of the huge potential, the stakeholders' partnership plays an important role by integrating their influences and interests into a specific goal. Unfortunately, such a strategic role is rarely well implemented in various tourist destinations. Based on a two months field research in Eastern Indonesia, this paper explains the factors influencing the weakness of ABT stakeholders' partnership, which, among others, are the inability to define the their own strategic role and function, no firm and consistent policy direction, low commitment to common goals, misperception about the targeted ABT development, and no regulation which brings a common interest in ABT development. The study pointed out that the stakeholders have been aware of these factors as the weak points for accelerating ABT development. Further, the linkage of ABT stakeholders’ role and function was explored as the basis for preparing the program of each stakeholder and the promotional regulation for ABT development. Abstract: Hot spring is a special attractiveness for tourists. It is a tourism resource just found in limited areas in the world. There has been significant development in the use and exploitation of hot springs. This wave of hot spring tourism attracts many businesses to invest in hot spring hotels. More of these hotels are built or renovated. This study used rough set theory (RST) as the research methodology. Rough set theory is a tool for data mining and it has the ability to generate rules. It aimed to define the attributes by which consumers choose hot spring hotels. The results would serve as a guide for developing hot spring hotel industry. In this study six condition attributes were used, namely hot spring bathing, lodging and dining, ease of transportation, internal design, external landscape as well as prices. This investigation finds that when there is more information on each of the attributes, more rules will be used to make the decision, but the accuracy decreases. Conversely, when there is less information on the criteria, fewer rules will be applied, and the stability will decrease. This research also notes that customers above age of 30 pay more attention to hot spring bathing, interior design and ease of transportation, and that customers below age of 30 are more interested in the lodging and dining as well as the ease of transportation.

Abstract: To evaluate the effect of the JCI quality document on the potential of patients coming from abroad in these cope of health tourism from the point of view of administratorsImportance: Studies examining the effects of JCI on health tourism are limited, the geographical position of our country is suitable for tourism, and there are new policies in the health sector. For these reasons we were motivated to conduct this study. The opinions of 60 administrators working in different positions in Group 4 A, JCI certificated hospitals on the Anatolian side of Istanbul were evaluated. The study was carried out over two months between February and March. For the reliability of collecting instruments, the value of Cronbach alpha was calculated and found to be 0.93. Thus, the survey had internal consistency. Validity analyses were conducted. It was established that the data were compatible with normal distributions, and parametric significance tests were used. 80% of those participating in the study were females and 20% males. 30% were in the 20 -29 age group; 53% between 30 -39; and 16.7% between 40-49. 65% were married. 36.7% had Bachelor’s degrees; 25% had tertiary training; 20% had postgraduate degrees; and 18.3% were high school graduates. 40 % had 1-5 years of service in the institute, 36.7 %, 6 - 10 years; 16.7%, less than one year; and 6.7%, more than 10 years. 43.3 % worked as middle level managers; 36.7 as middle level managers and 20% as top level managers. There is an inconclusive attitude about whether JCI is cost effective. In terms of JCI to the cost effectiveness, most administrators were undecided. The managers remained uncertain about whether better communication would be made between health professionals and the patients and their families and whether patients and their families would participate in all processes. Administrators were undecided about time loss occurring in the course of patient care.Administrators agreed with the view that JCI provided an image of international reliability and competitiveness.
