Abstract: The rapid development of technology poses threats in cyberspace, including in Indonesia. This type of threat is relatively new to Indonesia, especially since 2020. One of the challenges faced by Indonesia in dealing with cyber threats is the need for more competent human resources. In 2018, Indonesia and Australia collaborated in the form of the Indonesia-Australia Cyber Policy Dialogue, one of which is Capacity Building and Strengthening Connection. This research aims to discover how the Indonesian government, through BSSN, improves human resources by cooperating with Australia. The author uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research type in this research. The author also uses the concepts of international cooperation and cybersecurity to analyze this problem. The results of this study show that through BSSN, Indonesia has great potential to improve national cyberspace because it gets direct knowledge and practice from Australia. The potential of BSSN is expected to answer the need for more competent human resources in Indonesia to secure national cyberspace.

Abstract: This paper examines the causal effects of online food delivery (OFD) platforms on household food security in the context of a developing country, Indonesia. We construct food security data from households’ consumption surveys from 2012 to 2022 and merged it with a novel dataset on OFD platform penetration across districts, compiled through a combination of internet scraping and machine learning. Utilizing a contemporary event-study estimator to analyze the impact, our findings indicate that the expansion of OFD services enhances food security at the district level, with a more pronounced effect in rural areas, among younger households, and male-led households. We also show that this impact is likely driven by increased competition in the food market.

Abstract: This paper uses results from leading biophysical models in an established macro-economic modeling framework to offer insights on potential economic consequences of climate change in Asia and the Pacific. The analysis covers shocks in agriculture, fisheries, forestry, energy demand, capital (from sea level rise and riverine floods), and labor (from heat stress and extreme events). The shocks are considered in a global recursive dynamic computable general equilibrium model that breaks out major economies of the region. The modeling finds that potential total gross domestic product loss as a result of climate change reaches 16.9% in Asia and the Pacific by 2070 under a high-end emissions scenario, with all economies negatively affected. Sea level rise is the largest source of loss, followed by loss of labor productivity due to heat stress. Damage function extrapolation of the losses suggests that they could reach 41.0% of gross domestic product by 2100.

Abstract: With very rapid technological advances in this era of globalization, it is possible to shorten the processing of various information and make work easier, more effective and efficient. Many people do part of their work in buying and selling transactions to get a lot of profit. One of them is carrying out online buying and selling transactions using the dishope e?commerce application, where many shope sellers sell mystery boxes. Shope is a technology?based buying and selling application in Indonesia with a mission to equalize the digital economy. This research discusses the review of Islamic law regarding Mystery Box purchase transactions on the marketplace. The aim of this research is to analyze aspects of muamalah jurisprudence related to mystery box buying and selling transactions carried out via the Shopee e-commerce platform. This research uses the legal istinbat method which comes from the Koran and Hadith. The results of this research state that the law of buying and selling mystery boxes is prohibited because buying and selling mystery boxes does not fulfill the terms and conditions of buying and selling, namely the uncertainty of the items in the mystery box, the contents of which are only known by one party. According to Sharia, the buyer does not give the right to khiyar (choose). From this, mystery box buying and selling is included in gharar buying and selling because it contains an element of ambiguity which causes losses to buyers.

Abstract: This paper investigates the impact of capital structure on business performance of Vietnamese enterprises during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study focuses on key performance indicators such as return on total assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), and earnings per share (EPS). The analysis employs the table data regression method using a dataset comprising 5747 enterprise observations for the period of 2019 to 2022. The findings indicate that capital structure has a significant negative influence on the business performance of Vietnamese enterprises. Moreover, the study highlights the substantial effect of capital structure on business performance when considering different aspects and debt structures, particularly within the framework of the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on these research findings, the article recommends that business administrators carefully consider the optimal capital structure to enhance business efficiency, especially given the unpredictable nature of the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract: The expansion of male-dominated cash crops marginalizes women in the economic value chain. This issue is notably prevalent in Indonesia's continuously growing oil palm industry. Yet, there has been limited research on potential pathways for women's economic integration. This study addresses this gap by utilizing primary data collected through qualitative interviews from Jambi, a key region for oil palm cultivation. We undertake an in-depth exploration of women's work aspirations in general and specifically in relation to beekeeping, as beekeeping presents itself as a sustainable economic activity. The aim of our study is to understand how income opportunities for women in rural, agri-monoculture-dominated areas can be sustainably enhanced. The findings suggest that even though overall household income increase over the past decades due to palm oil cultivation, women nevertheless want to work. They state a variety of aspired professions which we cluster into "Traders", "Socials", and "Miscellaneous". The majority of women are open to beekeeping activities and those who are not raise concerns that could easily be addressed through information, training, and by keeping stingless bees. Our results provide insights into the socio-economic dynamics of oil palm expansion. We offer recommendations for policymakers and researchers aiming for more resilient and sustainable smallholder driven oil palm systems.

Abstract: Trong thời đại ngày nay, cuộc cách mạng công nghiệp 4.0 cùng với sự phát triển vượt bậc của công nghệ thông tin và truyền thông làm cho mọi mặt hoạt động của con người đều chuyển sang nền tảng số. Abstract: This tutorial provides an in-depth exploration of Variance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (VB-SEM) through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using the open-source software JASP. Different from commercial tools, it holds intuitive drag-and-drop interface, accessible menus, minimalist outputs, and real-time computation offer a compelling alternative for basic modeling. Hence, we focus on guiding users through the adjustment of a PLS-SEM model, covering reflective and composite measurement models (outer models) and a sophisticated structural model (inner model) using real data. Software windows are illustrated, providing guidance on crucial decision criteria, and an annotated file with analyses is included. The didactic approach addresses challenges faced by novice social scientists in adjusting PLS-SEM models, with supplementary videos proposed for enhanced learning . The primary aim is to position JASP as a free and accessible platform for VB-SEM model adjustments, advocating its adoption within the research community, and showcasing its usability, reproducibility, and acceptability.

Abstract: This paper employs predictive regressions to explore the predictability of sovereign Credit Default Swap (CDS) spread dynamics of relevant oil-producing countries. By incorporating oil prices and additional control variables, we predict the rate of CDS spread changes for Brazil, the UK, Malaysia, Norway, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, the US, and Venezuela. Our findings reveal that (i) the empirical coefficients of determination (R 2 ) indicate low in-sample predictability for our entire period of analysis (2010-2024), the R 2 increases markedly when dividing the analysis period into more relevant sub-samples (2010-2016 and 2016-2024); (ii) oil prices are not significant predictors for the full period but become significant in many regressions within sub-samples; (iii) for countries where oil prices are significant in both sub-samples, the coefficient sign changes from negative to positive, suggesting that in more recent years, rising (falling) oil prices signal increasing (decreasing) geopolitical risk, positively (negatively) influencing CDS spreads.

Abstract: The empirical fact that is currently happening is that EMKM and BUMDES entrepreneurs in the Ciganitri area do not understand what and how financial reports are presented according to standards. The implication is that they cannot give financial reports, so the financial position of the business cannot be determined accurately, as a result, the assessment of financial performance fails, and tax reporting cannot be determined precisely. Increasing competence in financial accounting through training and mentoring is an urgent solution. This activity was attended by 25 participants from various EMKM and BUMDES business units. This abdimas aims to help EMKM and BUMDES entities understand basic finance and introduce the use of the Si Apik and SIABDES accounting applications for preparing financial reports according to EMKM financial accounting standards (SAK). The methods used in Community Service include problem identification, field surveys, training, post-training assistance, and assessments, to measure the achievement of community service outcomes. The results obtained show an increase in the understanding of the Community Service participants. They are starting to be interested in applying the Si Apik accounting application or SIABDES for the purpose of presenting financial reports according to standards so that their obligations in realizing transparency and accountability can be helped to be realized.
