    Abstract: People's Business Credit (KUR) is a credit or financing to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the form of working capital and investment supported by guarantee facilities for productive and feasible businesses but has limitations in fulfilling the requirements set by banks. This study uses qualitative data methods, namely interviews from sources related to the author, observation, through observation and documentation to complete the interview data. The results of research on the process of granting credit at PT. Bank Nagari Payakumbuh Branch which starts from submitting credit applications from prospective customers, assessment and examination, credit analysis stages, credit approval, and credit disbursement. This process aims to ensure the eligibility of a credit, whether it is accepted or rejected. In determining the eligibility of a credit, an in-depth assessment is always carried out at each stage.
