    Abstract: Existing histories of behavioral and experimental economics (BE-XP) are mostly focused on the intellectual and institutional developments of these approaches in the United States of America - and to a lesser extent in Germany. While a seminal contribution to these approaches was produced in the early 1950s in France by Maurice Allais, the literature is rather silent on how BE-XP developed subsequently in France. We propose to fill this gap by comparing the history of BE-XP in France to international trends previously identified in the literature. We show that after an ambivalent influence of the work of Allais (1953) on BE-XP in France during the 1980s, that influence rapidly faded. BE-XP in France then largely follows international trends. We nevertheless identify some heterogeneity across the French territory and the development of at least two national specificities on the measurement of utility and the modeling of social preferences.

    Abstract: This study examines gender diversity among authors in philosophy and methodology of economics, comparing it to the disciplines of economics and philosophy. Using bibliometric methods, we find that philosophy and methodology of economics, as an interdisciplinary field, consistently had a lower share of women authors than its parent disciplines, which are the two social sciences and humanities disciplines that are the furthest from gender parity. Although homogeneity compounding generally characterizes the whole field of philosophy and methodology of economics, one small and temporary subfield, making contributions to heterodox economics, structural realism, and the discussion on pluralism in economics, constituted a pocket of gender diversity. Alongside a more general discussion of possible reasons behind the striking gender imbalance in the field, we also elaborate on possible reasons for the limited size and duration of this pocket of diversity.

    Abstract: We present bibliometric evidence for increasing estrangement between the philosophy of economics and economics itself. Our analysis centers on research articles published in the Journal of Economic Methodology (JEM) between 1994 and 2021. We analyze the citations within these research articles, in particular with respect to the citations of economics. Our results are fourfold. (1) The share of economic citations in JEM articles has been decreasing. (2) The remaining economic citations in JEM articles are increasingly older relative to citation patterns within economics. (3) The profile of economic citations in JEM articles is increasingly dissimilar when compared to what is cited within economics. (4) There is decreasing diversity with regards to the share of attention towards different economic subfields in the articles published in JEM when compared to economics. We discuss interpretations of this evidence for estrangement between philosophy of economics and economics.

    Abstract: Jean-Louis Le Moigne's long and rich academic career led him to explore a wide range of management topics. While most of these are widely known and discussed, his interest in logistical issues is still often underestimated, if not ignored. This is even more surprising given that Jean-Louis Le Moigne's industrial career was characterized by a strong involvement in logistics management during his time at Shell France, with subsequent publications testifying to an undiminished interest. This article sheds light on the "reliance" between Jean-Louis Le Moigne and logistics, to better understand how supply chains should be considered as complex systems, on the one hand, and the importance of analyzing the dynamics of supply chains through the links built up between their members, on the other.
    Abstract: Le long et riche parcours académique de Jean-Louis Le Moigne l'a conduit à explorer un nombre important de thématiques en management des organisations. Si la plupart sont largement connues et discutées, son intérêt pour les questions logistiques est encore souvent mésestimé, voire ignoré. Ceci est d'autant plus surprenant que la carrière professionnelle de Jean-Louis Le Moigne est caractérisée par une forte implication en logistique lors de son passage à Shell France, avec des publications qui témoigneront, par la suite, d'un intérêt ne s'étant jamais démenti. L'article propose d'éclairer la « reliance » entre Jean-Louis Le Moigne et la logistique pour mieux comprendre en quoi les chaînes logistiques doivent être considérées comme des systèmes complexes, d'une part, et l'importance d'analyser la dynamique des chaînes logistiques à travers les liens construits entre leurs membres, d'autre part.

    Abstract: Die Abteilung für Organisations- und Innovationssoziologie hat im Oktober 2009 als neu eingerichteter Lehrstuhl am Institut für Sozialwissenschaften der Universität Stuttgart ihren Betrieb aufgenommen. Dieser Text gibt einen Überblick über die ersten fünfzehn Jahre unserer Forschungs- und Publikationstätigkeit. Dazu werden die inhaltlichen Schwerpunkte der Abteilung vorgestellt, ergänzt um eine Auswahl wesentlicher Publikationen zu den jeweiligen Themenfeldern. Anschließend folgt eine Zusammenstellung aller Veröffentlichungen zwischen 2009 bis 2024. Das Papier endet mit einer Übersicht über unsere abgeschlossenen und laufenden Forschungsprojekte.
    Abstract: The Department of Organizational Sociology and Innovation Studies commenced operations in October 2009 as a newly established chair at the Institute for Social Sciences at the University of Stuttgart. The following pages provide an overview of the first fifteen years of our research and publication activities, presenting the main areas of research, supplemented by a selection of key publications on the respective topics. This is followed by a compilation of all publications by the department between 2009 and 2024. The paper ends with an overview of our completed and ongoing research projects.

    Abstract: In diesem Korreferat zu dem Beitrag 'Ökonomische Bildung in der Sozialen Marktwirtschaft' von Nils Goldschmidt und Marco Rehm werden zuerst die Hauptpunkte ihrer Argumentation herausgestellt und danach kritisch betrachtet. Die Ordonomik von Ingo Pies erscheint zu eng und kontrovers für allgemeinbildende Schule, könnte jedoch als ein Element die ökonomische Bildung bereichern, die nicht dogmatisch, sondern tolerant und pluralistisch die Grundlagen der sozialen Marktwirtschaft vermitteln sollte.
    Abstract: In this discussion of the article 'Economic Education in the Social Market Economy' by Nils Goldschmidt and Marco Rehm, the main points of their argument are first highlighted and then critically examined. Ingo Pies's Ordonomics appears to be too narrow and controversial for general education schools, but could enrich economic education as an element, which should teach the basics of the social market economy in a tolerant and pluralistic instead of dogmatic way.

    Abstract: Este libro se plantea describir los principales rasgos de la profesión académica, en el contexto de la sociedad del conocimiento y la innovación, con particular foco en las profesiones liberales en el sistema universitario argentino. Procura avanzar en una indagación del perfil de quienes provienen de las ciencias económicas como disciplina de origen, identificando las motivaciones y condicionantes del ejercicio parcial o exclusivo de la profesión académica, considerando trayectorias biográficas y ocupacionales y el impacto de factores contextuales (macropolíticos, sociales e institucionales) y personales, buscando interpretar las tensiones subyacentes a tal decisión. Fue concebido con la idea de que su lectura interpele y motive una discusión que aporte al diseño de políticas públicas e institucionales que puedan contribuir a mejorar la calidad en el despliegue de la profesión académica en las profesiones liberales, particularmente en las ciencias económicas, a partir de un desarrollo integrado y sinérgico de las funciones sustantivas de la Universidad. La expectativa es que esta nueva mirada, que prioriza la equidad de géneros, contribuya a los procesos de mejora emergentes de las instancias de evaluación de la calidad en la educación superior y genere un mayor impacto positivo en un desarrollo comunitario sostenible e inclusivo.

    Abstract: While the importance of social norms for shaping and transforming communities is uncontested, their nature and normativity are controversial. Most recent theorists take social norms to arise if members hold certain attitudes, such as expectations on others, perhaps along with certain behaviours. Yet attitudes do not create norms, let alone social norms or social normativity. Social norms are instead made: through a social process. Social norming processes are special communication processes, often non-verbal and informal. We present different versions of a process-based account of social norms and social normativity. The process-based view brings social norms closer to legal norms, as processes represent social 'acts' just as laws and contracts arise through acts rather than mere attitudes, for instances acts of voting or signing
