Since 2017–12–12, NEP issues come out on a Monday shortly after midnight UTC, unless the week is a holiday week.

Since October 2017, the following weeks are NEP holiday weeks:

• the first week of June,
• the first week of July,
• the first week of August,
• the last week of December.

RePEc is getting noticably fewer papers at these periods.

Since August 2016, NEP has been running the Yanabino queueing system. This has allowed NEP to automate issues at regular schedule.
